Anderson Oars and Paddles has been providing custom exotic wood paddles to the public since 1999. We offer proven designs and keep an inventory of finished paddles.
The diverse nature of paddling opportunities on the "Wild River's Coast" of Southern Oregon developed into an extensive variety of the best blade shapes for all the different types of paddling. Research and Development of the different blade shapes started in 1993 and has been responsible for one of the most prolific collections available.
Shafts- We offer a variety of layups but, you must be accurate about your paddling prowess when placing your order. No one wants to be "up the crik without a paddle"
"Bent Shafts" are only offered with Outrigger Paddles.
opinion- The biggest drawback to a torque/bent shaft kayak paddle is forced hand placement. Changing hand placement on the shaft is very useful and to deny it to the paddler is a disservice.
